Marc has been a certified physician assistant in the medical community since 1979. A graduate of the City University of New York with a degree in Biology, he received his physician assistance training from Catawba Valley Technical College. Through his career, he has gained significant experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, and hospital based care. Marc is licensed by The North Carolina Medical Board and maintains active recertification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
He belongs to a number of professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Carolina Medical Society, the American Academy of Physician Assistants Society of Otolaryngology and the Unifour Physician Extenders. Marc is also very active with the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants where he has held a number of offices. These include Past President (1983-1984 & 1993), President Elect 2014, Chair, Government Affairs Committee Member (1984-2013) and current member (2014-present). He also currently is a member of the North Carolina Medical Board Physician Assistant Advisory Council.and a liason and Vice Chair of the North Carolina Medical Board Review Panel and as a delegate to House of Delegates of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Marc's experience and certification allows him to provide various levels of quality patient care including ambulatory pH testing, esophageal manometric studies, acute care, pre and post op care and surgical assisting.
